      Project Profile

      1. Project Statement

      The project is located in Dongguan City, Guangdong Province, 25km away from the center of Dongguan City, next to Songshan Lake, about 20 minutes' drive from the city. The location is superior and the transportation is convenient. There are a large number of shallow mountain areas, densely covered with litchi forest, with good ecological resources.

      2. Objective and Challenge

      How to plan a high-quality science and Technology Park in the shallow mountain natural resources, which is in line with the world-class vision and scientific research requirements, and how to adapt to the humid and hot climate environment of Dongguan to the greatest extent, has become the problem to be solved in this project. In addition, the reasonable layout of exhibitions, experiments, scientific research, accommodation, meetings, offices and other functions in line with the use of the project has become one of the challenges.

      3. Design Strategy

      The architectural design concept adheres to the core ecological concept, systematically combs the ecological conditions and natural resources in the site, and fully combines the site status with the local hydrological and natural ecological conditions in Dongguan for design. 

      4. Conclusion

      Finally, a modern model of new wind soil scientific research building is formed, which not only meets the needs of users, but also respects the ecological texture of the site, and is based on the local climate and environment.
